Cycling holidays at Hawthorn Farm

This corner of Kent is packed with wonderful cycling opportunities. The range of routes is quite extraordinary - from country lanes and chocolate box villages, to beach front promenades and sea walls... The well known Viking Coastal Trail is one of the most picturesque circular leisure routes in the area. Ride the 32 miles (51km) along the Kent coast through Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate, and on to the surrounding villages. Or maybe enjoy the route in shorter sections, allowing you to spend time at the popular attractions on the way.

Hawthorn Farm is in a very quiet, rural location and is very convenient for cyclists, as it's right on a national cycle route. We cycled out in both directions from the cottage, and did a round trip to Sandwich, as well as visiting the Stodmarsh National Nature Reserve. The cottage was ideal, with a well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. There is a small sitting area as well as outside space, parking and bike storage: Perfect!
